Product overview BREITLING 's flagship model, the Chronomat, was released in 1984 with the aim of being a "watch for professional PILOT." It was created based on feedback from the Italian Air Force acrobatic team, the Firecze Tricolori, and the voices of real professionals. This particular model was born in a 2004 model change and was called the Chronomat Evolution before the name change. It has been redesigned from the previous 39mm size to nearly 44mm, a size that matches current trends. Production of this model ended with the release of a successor model in 2009, so it is now only available on the second-hand market.
