Detailed explanation |
We have a vintage Greco from the 70's in stock, the EG-800, which was part of the Gunneko logo lineup from the early 70's! Equipped with Zebra's Maxon MagnaFlux humbuckers, this is the top-of-the-line LP model found in the 1973 catalog. In the second half of the 1970s, high-end handmade models such as the EG1500 and EG1200, and inexpensive set-neck models such as the EG600 appeared, but in the early 1970s the EG800 was the only set-neck model. (This is different from the EG800 that was later released as the "Narimo magnetic model.") The body is hollow and extremely light, with a slim neck and body contours for excellent playability. This guitar is full of early Greco characteristics, including a sound that feels sharper than the original Les Paul. There are scratches and dents throughout. The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck warp has been adjusted with a rod. There is a slight amount of wear on the frets, but there is still enough left that it doesn't interfere with playing.
