Product overview We have received an electric bass from the guitar craft studio "Sonido" headed by the skilled luthier Sumio Yamamoto, whose studio is located in Midori-ku, Nagoya. Mr. Yamamoto is mainly famous in the field of acoustic guitars, and he came up with the "hollow structure" in which the body is completely carved out and slits are carved into the inside of the body based on the idea of a Japanese drum. Since no processing such as heat or bending that puts a strain on the wood is done, you can enjoy the natural sound of the wood and it is also durable, so he has produced very elaborate guitars. The Sonido bass incorporates the original design and techniques of the skilled luthier Mr. Yamamoto. It has a maple through-neck structure, wings that seem to be made of core material, a single cutaway body, and a J-type pickup and control. The hard and clear bass sound makes you want to play it forever, and Mr. Yamamoto's skills shine brightly. *Although there is no logo or certificate, there is a signature of Mr. Yamamoto on the back of the head, and we have confirmed that it is definitely made by Sonido.
