Product overview The 2021 Les Paul Custom, the pinnacle of Les Pauls manufactured only at the Custom Shop, has arrived! Moreover, it is in Alpine White, a color that is rarely distributed! Based on the Les Paul Custom from 1968 onwards, it has a mahogany body with a maple top, ebony fingerboard, Grover pegs and black knobs. The pickups are 490/498. It has a higher output than the PAF and is an excellent pickup that goes well with distortion. The crisp sound of the maple top and the good sustain of the deep joint structure make it more versatile than the 1957 model and can be used for a wide range of genres from jazz and blues to rock and metal.

The screw on the rear pickup is rusted, and if you do not use a suitable screwdriver, you may strip the screw hole when turning it. The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck has been adjusted with a rod and is now almost straight. There is still plenty of fret height, so it is not particularly difficult to play.
