Product overview We are pleased to announce the arrival of the "Classic Series" Strat, a popular Mexican-made version of the 1999 USA model "American Vintage Series"! It is a vintage reissue model, the predecessor of the current "Vintera Series", and is one of the very few 70's style Strats in circulation. The Mexican-made models are manufactured in Fender's own factory with the same machine tools and manufacturing methods as those used in the U.S. factory! While the finely crafted Japan-made models are great, it is the Mexican models that have the feel and sound of the USA-made models! Currently, the Vintera II is the only 70s model in the lineup, and the opportunities to pick one up are dwindling! Please pick one up as soon as possible!
