Product overview This 1986 Squier, an E-serial Squier from the early days of Fender Japan, is now in stock! This simple Stratocaster model, the SST-30, is here! The Squier brand was actually launched at the same time as Fender Japan, and was initially manufactured in Japan and targeted at the Japanese market. Its position is similar to Gibson's Orville brand. It was later developed as a budget brand for Europe, leading to the creation of today's Squier. Fender Japan was originally established to compete with the growing number of Japanese-made copycat models, and this Fujigen-manufactured instrument, while still being the most affordable model, is meticulously crafted. The previous owner replaced the pickups with Van Zandt ones, allowing for a richer, more refined Stratocaster sound. We hope you enjoy the fascinating world of Japanese vintage.

Detailed explanation	There are slight scratches, small dents, and dullness/rust on the metal parts. The truss rod is approaching its limit in the reverse warp correction direction (loosening side), but correction is still possible. There is plenty of room in the forward warp correction direction. The neck has been adjusted with a rod, but there is a slight backbow at the joint (the opposite of a high rise). This does not pose any problems for playing. The frets are still high enough, so there is no particular problem with playing.
