We have a 90s reissue model of the GIBSON ES-295, the "greatest rockabilly guitar" produced from 1952 to 1958, in stock! Based on the ES-175, the ES-295 features a gorgeous gold top color that catches the eye. This instrument is equipped with a factory Bigsby rather than a trapeze bridge, making it a classic rockabilly instrument that comes equipped with a Bigsby from the factory. The pickups are P-100, which provides low noise while retaining the fullness and sharpness of the P-90. It has the thick yet straightforward sound that is characteristic of the ES-295, and is versatile enough to fit not only rockabilly but also jazz, blues, and pop. There are scratches, dents, and paint cracks throughout. The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck warp has been adjusted with a rod. As this is a slightly older instrument, there are some small wavy and twisted parts, but it is still in a straight condition considering its age. There are no particular problems with playing. The frets are slightly worn, especially in the low to middle positions, but this does not interfere with playing.
