Product overview This is the classic electric bass model, the Jazz Bass, made by Fender Japan in 1989-1990! Based on the serial number and the 55 sticker on the back of the head, we have determined that this is the "JB62-550" that was listed in the 1990 catalog. This is the most popular model in the Jazz Bass lineup at the time, and is a '62 style replica with a basswood body and rosewood fingerboard. With the exquisite construction that is unique to Japanese products, you can enjoy the crisp sound that is unique to the Jazz Bass.
