The SG-800 is a higher-end model of the SG-600, which was born when the lower-end models of the SG series were remodeled in the early 1980s. Compared to the SG-600, the body back has been changed from agathis to nato wood, the position inlays have become more luxurious, and a bi-sound system has been added.
