Product overview This vintage model from the long-established Tokai is one that attracts particular attention among Japanese vintage. We have in stock a Jazz Bass model with an L serial number that was in circulation in the early 1980s! The catalog states it is a "1964 MODEL," making it a Jazz Bass model based on the so-called 60s. The bridge saddles on this instrument have been replaced with spiral ones, giving it a more authentic specification. Tokai in the 1980s was a time when catalogs were filled with handwritten descriptions of guitars and basses. This is an entry-level model that has inherited the spirit of Tokai's craftsmen and is a guitar that should not be underestimated. *Pots and bridge saddles have been replaced

The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck has been adjusted with a rod.
