Product overview The Yamaha "SFX (Super Flight)" series debuted in the late 1980s and is known for being used by the big name hard rock guitarists! Of the three grades available, the mid-class "SFX-II" has arrived! It uses the world's first cutting-edge gear "Rockin Magic II" tremolo bridge that allows dynamic arming in both down and up directions, and of course it is equipped with the "Bi-Sound System" that is a sign of Yamaha's high-end models! Combined with the power guerrilla pickup, the sticky, gutsy sound is perfect for hard rock. It was only manufactured for a short period of time around 1987-1988, so it is rare to come across it. The truss rod is approaching its limit in the forward warping correction direction (tightening side), but correction is still possible. There is plenty of room in the reverse warp correction direction. The neck warp has been adjusted with a rod. It is in a straight condition considering its age. There are no particular problems with playing. There is a slight reduction in the frets, but there is still enough left that it does not interfere with playing.
