Product overview The headless bass "APB" model is one of the "USA Custom Series" produced by FERNANDES USA, which appeared in the late 90s! This bass model stands out in the history of Fernandes, adopting a headless structure and graphite neck to eliminate unnecessary vibrations and make the body resonate. It is similar to the "SWB" series that was lined up in the late 80s, including the shape, but the specifications are stronger than SWB. The body is ash, the fingerboard is phenolic, and the control uses a 2EQ circuit of VOL/Balancer/Active. The pickup is equipped with the popular FGI Technology. It gives the impression of a "well-made bass" that is simple and well-crafted, with high playability and clear sound. In addition to the list price being a bit high at 125,000 yen, it was only available in the lineup from around 1996 to 1998, so it was short-lived.
