Product overview 1993-1994 Fender Japan's mini & amp-equipped Stratocaster, named "ST-CHAMP", has arrived! It is a Sonic Blue & matching head specification that was not in the catalog! It appeared in the late 1993 catalog, and was renamed "ST-CHAMP 10" when the specifications were changed, but it was a short-lived model that had already disappeared in the 1998 catalog. The early model (ST-CHAMP) had 21 frets with a 265mm scale, synchronized tremolo and no truss rod, but the later model (ST-CHAMP 10) had 22 frets with a 310mm scale, two-point support tremolo and head adjustment rod. This is an early model. What looks like a pickup selector is a switch, and in addition to on/off, it is equipped with an overdrive switch! This is a valuable Fender amp-equipped model that will never be seen again!

The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck has been adjusted with a rod and is now almost straight. There is a slight amount of wear on the frets, but there is still enough left that it doesn't interfere with playing.
