We have just received a PB model of vintage Tokai, which was distributed in the mid-80's and has the words "HARD PUNCHER" on it! Although this model is the lowest priced, you can see the authentic finish with the body made of Alder or Sen, U-shape maple neck, and round fingerboard! The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck has been adjusted with a rod, but there are still some small wavy and twisted parts. The frets are slightly worn, but there is still enough left that it does not interfere with playing.
