Product overview TUNE GUITAR MANIAC, a Hyogo-based company highly regarded by studio musicians and bassists alike, has just received a 6-string model from the 1980s and 1990s! The "SOMNUS" series, designed with a compact, active, and neck-through concept, was a premium model of the "TB" series. This instrument is part of the Zi series. While minor specifications vary by period, the controls during this period were quite simple, allowing for precise sound shaping with the trim inside the cavity. The body is made of ash with a walnut top and back, and the neck is a sturdy, four-piece maple neck-through design. Not only does it deliver a clear bass sound, but it also offers excellent playability and long playing times, making it a welcome addition! Note: There is a crack on the neck near the nut on the 6th string side. This has now been repaired and is playable without any problems. Note: The strap pin is missing. Please use a Jim Dunlop-type locking pin when playing standing up.

The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck has been adjusted with a rod to remove any warping. There are some small wavy or twisted areas, but they have been adjusted to ensure that they do not affect playability. The frets are generally worn, but do not interfere with playability.
