Product overview The VanZandt brand was born from a collaboration between global pickup manufacturer VanZandt and Japan's PGM, aiming to create guitars that maximize the performance of their pickups. The TLV-R2, a model that inherits the classic '60s style, is now available. It features an alder body, rosewood fingerboard, and double binding. The ultra-thin all-nitrocellulose lacquer finish delivers the guitar's distinctive resonance directly. The key to its sound, of course, is the hand-wired pickups made in Texas, USA. The sound combines the crispness of a Telecaster with a rich midrange and sustain. This guitar combines vintage soul with modern playability. We recommend this guitar to guitarists seeking a truly "usable" Telecaster. The bridge has been replaced with a BABICZ FCH Ashtray Telecaster, and the tuning machines have been replaced with GOTOH locking tuning machines.
