Product overview This popular '80s Fender Japan model, manufactured between 1986 and 1987 (F serial number, Made in Japan), is Fujigen-made! We've just received the ST55F, a model not listed in the catalog! In the late '80s, the X-Trem, the first Floyd Rose-type bridge for a Fender Japan guitar, was introduced. It was featured on the Pro-Feel series STR, but since this model lacks the Pro-Feel series' distinctive features, such as a heel cut at the joint and 22 frets, it was likely produced as an affordable X-Trem model. The X-Trem is a classic Stratocaster model with the addition of a standard Stratocaster arm, allowing you to enjoy intense arm movements while still retaining the Stratocaster feel. The X-Trem is manufactured by Takeuchi, so it offers the stability you expect from Japanese-made parts!

The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck has been adjusted with a rod and is now almost straight.
