Product overview The flagship model of ESP, "HALIBUT", made in 2006, is now in stock! The HALIBUT started out in 1999 with the slogan "The best 5-string bass ever! The HALIBUT was born as a 5-string bass with no compromise at all. The wenge sanded body is one of the features of HALIBUT, and this is a variant model "HALIBUT ASH" with an ash body and maple neck. The originally deep and dark sound of HALIBUT has been changed to a bright and lively tone. The original dual coil pickups ordered from the Seymour Duncan Custonm Shop can be used with coil taps to produce vintage a wide range of sounds from a high-fidelity modern sound! The HALIBUT is one of the few models of the ESP series that is not inexpensive, such as the Edwards version. Please take this opportunity to try it for yourself.
