Product overview The "Avenger" series was once licensed and produced by Firstman. At the time, the lineup consisted of the "A-11 Aenger bass" and the higher-end "MK-103 Ventures Bass." The 20-fret design identifies this as an "A-11" (the higher-end MK-103 had 22 frets). The lack of an "FM" stamp or serial number on the end of the fingerboard suggests this is an Avenger from a transitional period. Mosrite basses are extremely rare, and Avenger basses in particular are extremely rare. The distinctive German curve and sunburst color create a unique atmosphere, unique to this era.
