Product overview The 2018 TAKAMINE limited model, the TDP-471M, which was announced at the 2018 Musical Instrument Fair and caused quite a stir, is now in stock! The most notable feature of this model is its all-mahogany body. Luxuriously crafted from rare Honduran mahogany, it features a solid mahogany top and back, and mahogany sides. The body is a small 400 series New Yorker style with a slotted headstock, and the combination of the mahogany produces a distinctive midrange and earthy sound. The preamp uses the CTP-3 vacuum tube preamp. With a sophisticated look and sound, this is a guitar for connoisseurs!
