Product overview This 2011 model is the signature left-handed version, the 000-28EC, released in 1996, following the 000-42EC, the first limited model released in 1995 by singer-songwriter Eric Clapton, an 18-time Grammy Award winner and often described as "the most influential guitarist." The 000 model is generally smaller in size. At the time, the 000 model was being overlooked as larger acoustic guitars became the mainstream, but the sound of the 1939 000-42 used by Eric Clapton on "Unplugged (1992)" quickly made its greatness known to the world. It has a higher grade of carefully selected wood than the regular 000-28, a V-shaped neck that follows vintage style, and a sound with delicate and beautiful mid-to-high frequencies that is truly of superior quality. If you have never played a 000 size guitar, we highly recommend you try it at least once. You'll only truly understand the greatness of this guitar once you pick it up and play it.
