Product overview The SC series is an original Yamaha guitar from the late 70s to early 80s! We have the SC5000, a mid-range model with a list price of 80,000 yen (excluding tax) at the time! The SC series was born in 1977 with the concept of "for single bobbin fans". This instrument is one of the guitars when the series was renewed in 1981, and except for the top model, the bolt-on was changed to a set neck and an LP-type head, giving it a look and specifications similar to the SF series of the same Yamaha. (The top model of the SC continued to be a through-neck.) In addition, an original tremolo is installed, allowing for arm play. The 5-way control is equipped with a bi-sound system, allowing for a wider range of sound making than you can imagine! Please enjoy this popular domestic vintage model!

The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck has been adjusted with a rod, but there is some waviness overall. There is a slight reduction in the frets, but there is still enough left that it does not interfere with playing.
