Product overview Gallagher guitars were born in Tennessee, USA in the 1960s and are loved by bluegrass artists. We have received a domestic Gallagher that was licensed and produced by Terada Gakki in the 1990s. This instrument is a dreadnought-sized guitar called the GL-10, which uses a solid spruce top and flame maple plywood for the sides and back. The hard and brilliant sound that is characteristic of maple has matured into a very high-quality acoustic sound after about 30 years of beautiful sustain and resonance. In fact, the domestic Gallagher was not manufactured for that long, and the number of them in circulation is now small. In the 1970s, it was such a major style at the time that multiple copy models of the so-called "Gallagher style" were produced.
