Product overview Needless to say, the 2008 Fender Custom Shop represents Fender's pinnacle lineup, crafted by a select group of artisans. The 1959 Precision Bass Relic, a replica of the 1959 model, is now available. It features an alder body, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, and an anodized pickguard, a staple until the arrival of genuine tortoiseshell. The relic treatment, a long-standing Custom Shop exclusive until the Roadworn series, also adds a spectacular look that will catch anyone's eye. Of course, the sound isn't just first-rate; the solid, powerful tone captures the essence of the original Precision Bass.

Detailed explanation	The overall condition of the instrument is unknown due to the relic finish. We have tried to deodorize it, but the case still has a cigarette smell. As a result, the instrument itself also has a slight cigarette smell. The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck curvature has been adjusted with the rod. It is close to straight, but if judged strictly, there is a high rise (a slight rise from the joint). The high-position frets have been filed down to reduce buzzing. The frets have been filed down before, so the overall fret height is slightly lower.
