Product overview In the history of Fender, the 1980s Japanese-made (MIJ) Squier guitars astounded the world with their high quality. We have just received a rare example, the "CST-30," from the highly acclaimed E serial period, manufactured in 1986. Manufactured under the supervision of the original Fender brand using Japan's superior craftsmanship, this series is now re-evaluated both domestically and internationally as "Japan vintage." The meticulous craftsmanship unique to this era, setting it apart from current Squier models, exudes an aura of its own. The entry-level models at the time were the '62-style "SST-36" and the '70s-style "CST-30." Over 30 years later, the well-played, dry body and maple neck produce a sound that is truly a classic Stratocaster. Its crisp yet moderately mellow tone exudes a depth and sense of history not found in current models. This guitar is an extremely attractive entry-level model in the "Japan vintage" genre, and a must-have for players seeking the sound of that era. We highly recommend you consider purchasing it.

Detailed explanation	There are some slight scratches and small dents, but considering the model year, there is little damage and it looks relatively clean. The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck has been adjusted with a rod and is now almost straight. The frets have been worn down, but they are still tall enough that they do not interfere with playing.
