Product overview The 2013 GENESIS is a legendary instrument buried deep in Epiphone history, known only to those in the know. Produced for only a few years in the late 1970s, this ambitious model has been reborn with modern technology in limited edition 2013 reissue. The original GENESIS was designed by former Gibson marketing director Jim Walker and was not a copy of a Gibson model; it was born as Epiphone's unique double-cutaway model. However, despite its high quality and advanced specifications, it has a tragic history of being short-lived. This reissue faithfully preserves the original's spirit. The thick mahogany body produces a robust sound that combines both tenacity and power, unlike either a Les Paul or an SG. Equipped with coil-tap ProBucker pickups, this guitar offers a wide range of tones, from powerful humbuckers to brilliant single-coil tones.
