Product overview Pot date 79, serial 80 years. vintage model of the ES-335, which has been in production since its introduction in 1958 and has captivated many guitarists, is now in stock. This model was produced during the transitional period from the 70s to the 80s, when the center block was returned to its original specifications while featuring a 70s-like 3-piece maple neck & coil tap function. The pickups are "Super Humbuckers" that are coated with tar from the back side. It is rare to find a fully original guitar from this period, and is highly recommended for collectors!

The included original hard case shows overall signs of age-related deterioration, with some areas where the leather is peeling. The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck curvature has been adjusted with the truss rod. While it is nearly straight, there are some minor undulations and twists throughout, but it does not pose any particular problems for playing. The frets have been worn down and are relatively flat, but this does not affect playing.
