Writer series released in 1995 This is a model of Voltaire, a French philosopher and writer who represents the Enlightenment. The overall design is inspired by the 18th century when Voltaire lived, but the design of the MONTBLANC mechanical pencil from the 1930s is reproduced, such as the decoration on the crown. The nib design is antique-style, reminiscent of the 17th and 18th centuries, and the crown, cap, and barrel are finished in sterling silver with gold-plated vermeil.
