Product overview We have an electric bass guitar from Guyatone, one of the driving forces behind the electric guitar boom in Japan! This is the EB-4, Guyatone's biggest hit bass, also known as the SAMURAI Bass. It was manufactured from 1960 to 1968, making it a rare long-selling model for Guyatone, and is estimated to have been manufactured in early 1966 based on the position marks, head shape, and truss rod. It has a resin bridge that is inconvenient to adjust the string height, and a 1vol1tone model with a proper humbucker, even though most guitars were humbucker-sized single coils...even with all the inconveniences, this guitar gives you a sense of the "taste of a bizarre guitar."

The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck warp has been adjusted with a rod. It has been adjusted so that there are no problems with playing. There is a slight reduction in the frets, but there is still enough left that it does not interfere with playing.
