Product overview The PT-015(ST) electric acoustic model, the world's first stereo system model, was born in the early days of Takamine in 1982. Until the PT-118(ST) was released, this model was the flagship model of Takamine. The body is all maple, the neck is maple with an ebony fingerboard. It is equipped with the PALATHETIC stereo specification that made Takamine famous around the world, and is equipped with a selector that allows you to switch when using stereo. Taking advantage of the independent sound collection of each string in PARATHETIC, you can choose between two types of output when stereo output is used: (123/456) and (135/246). If you select (123/456), the high strings are output from one amplifier and the low strings from the other, giving you a stereo effect as if two people were playing together, and if you select (135/246), odd strings are output from one amplifier and even strings from the other, allowing you to enjoy an unprecedented stereo spread!

The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck has been adjusted with a rod, but when the bass string side is adjusted to be straight, the treble string side is slightly bowed forward.
