Product overview It has two independent channels, PLEXI and BLACKFACE. BLACKFACE is a faithful reproduction of the famous mid-60s amplifier that used field effect transistors instead of vacuum tubes. You can choose between two different sounds, BLACKFACE ('65) and TWEED ('57), with the TWEED mode being a hotter sound. The PLEXI channel is based on the legendary 100-watt 1959 Plexi* amplifier. It also has two modes, JTM ('59) and JMP ('87). You can use both channels at the same time, with the signal flowing from PLEXI to BLACKFACE.
