Product overview We have a 1977 Greco original model, the "MR" series, in stock! This is Greco's most original model, created in collaboration with Mick Ralphs, who was the guitarist for Bad Company at the time. It was in the lineup, changing its appearance until around 1981-1982, when Greco's main product became the Mint Collection. This instrument is the top-of-the-line model from the early days, the "MR-1000," and is equipped with the high-grade "U-3000" pickup made by Nisshin Onba. This pickup uses an Alembic magnet, and was described in the catalog as "ultra-powerful." It has a mahogany body and neck with a maple top, an ebony fingerboard, and fret edge binding.
