Product overview We have a 1988 Precision Bass from the 1980s, an E-serial, among the earliest Fender Japan production models! Thanks to its meticulous construction by Fujigen, this Fujigen-era Fender Japan bass became popular and is now often traded for more than its retail price. While this was the lowest-priced model in the lineup at the time, its sound and playability are clearly indicative of its high quality. Furthermore, this instrument is in a Fiesta Red colorway, not included in the catalog, and is in excellent Condition with very few scratches or dents! The previous owner added a tortoiseshell pickguard, pickup fence, and bridge cover for a more authentic look. Furthermore, the pickups were replaced with high-quality cross-wired pickups (although the manufacturer is unknown), providing a powerful P-bass sound that lives up to its appearance. It also includes a hard case, which was originally sold separately by Fender Japan (for ¥19,000), making it a great addition to any collection!
