Product overview The original "PP" model was released when Fujigen launched its eponymous "FUJIGEN" brand in 1999! Also famous as the "Shounen Knife" model for Naoko Yamano, this model features a look that embodies the bizarre guitar boom of the 2000s, when TEISCO and Danelectro models were being re-released. Its cheap, student-model-like shape and vertical logo on the headstock evoke a sense of the era. The "PP4-380" features a basswood body and two cheap-looking Alnico 3 pickups. Its clean sound and ease of use are a welcome bonus, without the quirks and sleekness of the original Bizarre guitars. At the time, it was a bargain, with people wondering, "Fujigen? What's that?"
