Product overview This is a Tokai Telecaster model "TTE" manufactured in the late '80s! We've just received a rare "Paisley Red" TTE70PR! It features an alder body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard, materials not uncommon for this model. It first appeared in the 1987 catalog, then was renamed the TE70 in the 1989 catalog. It also featured a blue flower color, but this particular model, seen in the 1987 catalog, was the only one with a rosewood fingerboard! Its production period is extremely short, estimated to be between one and two years. While Fender Japan's paisley pattern has become extremely rare, this Tokai-made model is even more valuable! The dark, alluring finish is reminiscent of the old USA Fender models, and it's in excellent condition! The pots have been replaced with CTS models, and the pickups have been replaced with Lindy Fralin Blues Specials. Don't miss this opportunity! Detailed explanation	There are scratches and dents all over the guitar, tarnish/rust on the metal parts, cracks in the paint, and a crack in the paint on the neck joint. The condition is appropriate for its age. The truss rod is approaching its limit in the forward warping correction direction (tightening side), but correction is still possible. There is plenty of room in the reverse warp correction direction. The neck has been adjusted with a rod, but when the treble strings are adjusted to be straight, the bass strings are slightly bowed forward. There is no problem with playing. There is a slight reduction in the frets, but there is still enough left that it does not interfere with playing.
