The truss rod can be adjusted to correct both forward bow (tightening side) and backward bow (tightening side). The neck has been adjusted with a rod, but as it is a vintage instrument, there are signs of undulations and twisting throughout. Since it is prone to buzzing, the string height is set higher than usual. The frets have been worn down, and the high-position frets are particularly low.
