Product overview Needless to say, this 2002 Navigator model by Ken Yokoyama, a member of Hi-STANDARD, a legendary band that is essential to any discussion of Japanese rock/punk, is now in stock! It's no exaggeration to say that Yokoyama's most famous guitar is the HONEY (ESP Navigator N-LP-380LTD, manufactured in 1997), faithfully recreating every detail under Yokoyama's personal supervision. Since there was no budget-friendly HONEY KEN model authorized by Yokoyama himself, many people likely purchased the same color Edwards or Grassroots version, mounted Duncans, and slapped on some duct tape. The Honeyburst color, Duncan SH-4 pickups, removed pickguard, duct tape applied to prevent tone distortion, and even the "Ken" engraving on the back of the headstock evoke the spirit of those days. Yokoyama himself inspected each guitar and slapped on some duct tape before shipping, so you're sure to be pleased with the finish, which is so close to his own making. *The duct tape that was attached when the product was shipped has been removed, so we have reapplied new duct tape.
