Product overview A genuine ST model from Yamaha in the 1980s! In the 1980s, Yamaha significantly expanded its ST lineup. Previously, there were only about three grades, but now they offer a diverse lineup of six models, from the top-of-the-line "ST-1000M(R)" to the entry-level "ST-360R(M)," with a dual lineup featuring both maple and rosewood fingerboards. This instrument is a rosewood fingerboard model of the "ST-500," the third-lowest grade. Unlike the entry-level grade, it features an alder body, offering specifications close to those of the original. Of course, every Yamaha model from this period was made in Japan. While overshadowed by models like Greco and Aria, this guitar remains a highly sought-after Japanese vintage guitar, known only to those in the know.
