Product overview Greco remains highly regarded worldwide as a "Japan vintage" guitar. We have just received a particularly popular model, the "EG-500R," a Les Paul Custom model from the mid-'70s "Guneko Logo" era. This was a time when Japanese guitar manufacturing techniques were vying to rival Gibson. This exquisite guitar, with its mahogany body, multi-layer binding, and gold hardware, faithfully recreates the luxurious look of a custom guitar. As it was produced in the early '70s, before the lawsuits came to light, the headstock features Diamond inlay. The original U-1000 humbucker delivers a rich, powerful rock sound, truly capturing the sound of that era. Over 40 years later, this Japan vintage has developed a distinctive presence. Detailed explanation	There are scratches and dents throughout, and dullness/rust on the metal parts. The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck has been adjusted with a rod. It is in a fairly straight condition considering its age. While some adjustments have been made to the settings, some buzzing may be noticeable depending on your playing style. The frets show noticeable wear overall, but there is still plenty of it left and it does not interfere with playability.
