Product overview The Fernandes/Burny "H" series, affectionately nicknamed "Killer Whale" or "Whale," was part of the lineup from the 1990s to the early 2000s. This instrument, the "H-85S," was a core part of the lineup, appearing in the 2000 catalog. However, it is not listed in the previous or following year's catalogs, making it a rare instrument with a short production year. This high-end model featured a chic black pickguard, a locking tremolo, and the only sustainer in the series, unlike the standard H series. Unlike lower-end models, which used maple for the body, this one uses alder. Experience the originality that has inspired so many guitarists.

The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck curvature has been adjusted with the rod, but there is a high rise (slightly raised from the joint).
