Product overview We've just received the 2012 L-2000, a classic bass from Leo Fender's brand, G&L! The alder body and hard maple neck deliver a deep low end and a crisp attack, creating a sound that's even more punchy than a Stingray. The extensive controls—volume, treble cut, bass cut, pickup selector, series/parallel, active treble boost, active/passive—are so numerous that they can be difficult to master. This is truly a bass for bassists! This powerful and highly practical bass could only have been designed by Leo, who has worked on numerous classic instruments, from the P-bass to the Jazz bass and Stingray.
