Product overview We've just received a new Les Paul Special, a popular upgrade from the 1992 Les Paul Junior student model! This guitar features the specifications of the early '90s, a TOM bridge, and noiseless P-90 (also known as P-100) pickups. These specifications were unique to this era, leading up to the release of the Les Paul Junior Special in 1998. It features fret-edge neck binding, a feature not available on any Les Paul Specials until the 2021 Les Paul Special reissue. Furthermore, this guitar features Kluson tuning machines, which were not listed in the catalog at the time! While details are unknown, there are no signs of replacement, suggesting it is an original, possibly a custom-made model designed for vintage feel. This is an extremely rare instrument, so be sure to give it a try!

The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck has been adjusted with a rod and is almost straight.
