Product overview We've just received a 2015 SG from Shimamura Music's original brand, Cool Z! The Cool Z series was once positioned as the entry-level line for the HISTORY brand, but eventually the Cool Z brand itself became independent. It has since been reintegrated into the HISTORY brand, and the Cool Z brand has been discontinued. While production of budget models shifted to China during the reintegration, Cool Z was manufactured by Fujigen, a leading Japanese guitar factory that previously produced Fender Japan guitars. In recent years, the brand has been gaining attention for its high quality and affordable price. This ZSG-V/P guitar, an uncataloged model, features a slightly rough texture thanks to the thin urethane finish, and a rugged, rock-inspired style with open humbuckers and dot positions. It boasts the CFS (Contact Force) and deep joint construction you expect from Fujigen, making it a truly solid, Japanese-made guitar.
