Product overview Since the 1940s, Silvertone has been a popular choice for musicians looking for affordable instruments. The 1449, a standout among the Silvertone guitar brands, has recently been reissued! This unique model features a 3/4-size guitar, a unique shape, and a single-tuner headstock. It's a two-pickup version of the 1448 (with one pickup). In the 1960s, it was known as one of the "Amp-In-Case" guitars, Buy Now with a built-in amplifier. For this reissue, the rosewood bridge has been replaced with an adjustable one, improving intonation. The masonite body has been replaced with mahogany, giving it a more guitar-like sound. A built-in truss rod has also been added, improving maintenance while maintaining the guitar's bizarre looks. Enjoy the "cheap, great tone" that's so characteristic of garage rock!
