Product overview We are pleased to announce the arrival of "Super Edition", an ambitious work released by Tokai in the golden age of Japan Vintage made in 1982! From "Tokai of copy models" to "Tokai of originality". This is one of the "SD series", which was developed in the 80's to respond to the more modern music scene. From the serial number, we judged that it was manufactured in 1982 when it was in its prime. The "2-Ham Strat" is a Stratocaster body with two humbuckers. The powerful sound, which was in line with the hard rock/heavy metal boom of the time, is a far cry from the withered vintage tone of the hot and fat sound of the 80s itself. Although it tends to be hidden in the shadow of the royal road "ST series," the quality of its production is as expected of Tokai Gakki. This is a Japan Vintage that is well known by those in the know, and captures the frenzy of the era. Please take this opportunity to experience it for yourself!

The truss rod works well and there is ample room for adjustment in both the forward and backward bow directions. The neck has been adjusted with the truss rod and is now almost straight.
