EPIPHONE RIPPER BASS
Product code: 270-004-240-8274
Product overview The Gibson Ripper Bass, designed by the legendary Bill Lawrence in 2001 and debuting alongside the Grabber Bass in the '70s, is now available in a reissue from Epiphone! While the reissues are available in single-humbucker and PJ versions, this is the single-humbucker version. The Ripper gained instant fame when GREEN DAY's Mike Dirnt played it in his early days. Featuring a heavy maple body and neck with a single-humbucker pickup, it delivers a powerful bass sound that lives up to its name! The bite, especially when played with a pick, is unmatched! We highly recommend this guitar for punk/grunge fans and those looking for a unique bass that plays powerful rock.

Detailed explanation There are scratches, dents, signs of use, and dullness/rust on the metal parts.
The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions.
The neck curvature has been adjusted with the rod, but there is a slight backbow at the joint (opposite of high rise). It has been adjusted so that it does not cause any problems in playability. While this is somewhat covered by the settings, you may still feel some buzzing depending on your playing style. There is a slight amount of wear on the frets, but there is still enough left that it does not interfere with playability.
