Product overview We now have in stock the TOKAI TST-36, a mid-'80s production model made between 1984 and 1985! Unlike the vintage TST (GOLDSTAR SOUND) series of the time, this model debuted in 1984 as a modern, contemporary Stratocaster. The lineup included the TST-36H with two humbuckers and the HSS-style TST-36HS, as well as the SD series with metal knobs and escutcheons. It was primarily designed for hardcore styles like heavy rock and heavy metal. Its bold coloring, which goes beyond the matching headstock, is a distinctive feature not seen today. With affordable Japanese-made guitars becoming increasingly scarce, this is a great choice!
