Product overview The Yamaha SA series of semi-acoustic guitars has been a part of their lineup from the 1970s to the present day. We have just received a shipment of the SA-700, which was added to the lineup in 1982! It uses a variety of woods, including birch and beech for the body, alder for the center block, mahogany for the neck, and rosewood for the fingerboard, and has a semi-acoustic sound that reflects Yamaha's originality.
