Product overview Epiphone has reissued the Wilshire, one of their earliest and most iconic models, an essential part of solid-body guitar history! This limited production model, based on the 1966 model, has arrived! This particular model features the hat knobs seen in the 2010 catalog. While the Wilshire may give the impression of being similar to a Gibson SG, it was designed to compete with the Stratocaster, employing a double-cutaway design. The original Wilshire was designed before the Gibson SG, making this design cutting-edge at the time. Combined with the brightness of the mini-humbuckers, it produces a truly unique guitar sound!
