Product overview An indispensable part of solid-body guitar history, the Epiphone Wilshire, one of Epiphone's earliest masterpieces, has been reissued! This is a limited production model based on the 1966 model, and it has just arrived! This particular model features the VINTAGE REISSUE EPIPHONE knobs seen in the 2011 catalog. While the Wilshire may give the impression of being similar to a Gibson SG, it was designed to compete with the Stratocaster and features a double cutaway. The original Wilshire was designed before the Gibson SG, so this design was cutting-edge at the time. Combined with the brightness of the mini-humbuckers, it produces a truly unique guitar sound!

The neck has been adjusted with the truss rod and is now almost straight. The frets are still high enough that it doesn't interfere with playing.
